Yellow Journalism is still used today in newspaper headlines to exaggerate a story that causes for people to be more attracted to the topic. The purpose of the news is to attract people and make them talk about this publishment. The headline for today read: "Wall Street faces biggest ever insider trading probe". When you first read this article, you think why would Wall Street let this people work here. The truth is that this has been going on for years because now they are doing a three year investigation that could expose "a culture of pervasive insider trading in U.S. financial markets". Now they are going to investigate businesses that command big fees. They will also investigate consultants, investment bankers, hedge-fund, and mutual-fund traders that don't even have to do anything with this none sense. They were trying to examine if certain traders garnered tens of millions of dollars in illegal profits. It is exaggerating for them to investigate all these innocent people. Those companies suspected traders should be investigated more but this by far has not been Wall Streets biggest ever insider trading probe because it has been going on for years.
