Dear Editor,
After reading and studying the Wikileaks controversy concerning top secret information about governments around the world. Some say that the release of such information could cause great damage to many governments and people around the world. It can even have an effect of starting a war. Julian Assange has shocked many people around the world by releasing the truth to the people of the world. In my case I think i would be neutral with this whole situation involving the WikiLeaks. Neither do I find Julian Assange guilty of anything. Like any other person he believes the truth should be revealed. I am in neither side if its right or wrong to say the truth.
I have done some research and I agree and disagree with somethings about WikiLeaks. If governments have documents hidden from their people then it should be respected. And Julian Assange has prove this, he believes that everyone should know the truth and should not be lied to. For the people who help find this leaks, those who work for WikiLeaks, have a benefit they get the money but they get many people and governments angry. It might also be that the people who help leak this documents are really upset with the government and they want to show that they are powerful. And Julian Assange honestly has more power to him!
Controversial??? Yes it is. More than 300,000 documents were released by Assange, some that show the innocent death of young people, which in the news might say "it was only done for protection". It is a very known topic around the world at this time. Many people don't get to know about this type of crisis. I thank Assange because his determination in wanting the truth to be revealed to everyone is what is making everything clear and vivid for us. Now we have a chance to know what is happening in the world. I think Assange has a point when he leaks things like a video showing soldiers killing innocent people, because it questions if the United States is really doing its job right by keeping us safe. Aren't this American soldiers helping us? Well in that case I agree with WikiLeaks and I believe they are right to give information out.
On the other side, those who believe that WikiLeaks should not exist have there right too. They would rather see the government in a good position, where no country would be against us. It shocks everybody because the United States has the biggest power and it affects the country a lot. The Unite States really does not want there image deteriorated. We do make mistakes, and we don't want nothing to harm our country and government. There is no way to stop Julian Assange, he has his rights, and as long as the rights are granted , WikiLeaks will continue. If Assange or WikiLeaks are harmed, WikiLeaks will automatically release a "Insurance File" which will disperse to everyone. And it will affect the United States. A question still hunts me, what made Julian Assange invent this?
WikiLeaks by far has stormed out of the dark and it became such a big controversy that people are showing support with donations and rallies. Many people around the world are supporting this man Julian Assange. Some people agree and some disagree. Many others have different view points. My view of this is very neutral, I'm in the middle of this WikiLeaks controversy. People have different opinions and well you just read mine. I am sure you have your own opinions about the situation itself and I would love to hear someday about them. Thank you for your time and may yo have a wonderful day.
Sincerely,
Maria Rodriguez

IED's and Treatments!
a) I should treat this prisoners by first confiscating everything, all chemicals and things that they might use against my squad and me. Then, they will be transported to a nearby location to be interrogated. I would torture them until they speak up about the IED's. Threaten them with their families to see if they will speak up. If the insurgents refuse to answer questions or give completely false information, they will have some torture like water boarding. I would interrogate every member until one decides to tell a hint about where the location of the bombs are. If it takes a long time to get information from insurgents and no information is obtained then, insurgents will be released. But they will be tortured until something is said so they will obviously say something.
b) Short-term repercussions might lead to not finding anything at all because of the time that it took to interrogate the insurgents. This also leads to a greater disaster, which can kill many innocent people around that area. The long-term repercussions would be that that insurgents will be mentally ill because of the amount of torture. My team and i could be discharged from this intelligence group for all the mistreatment that we have done. The relationship with that other country might worsen because of the mistreatment that we have done to the insurgents.

Wordles!
The tone for the United States Declaration was authoritative, protective, and defensive. I also believed that the United States was trying to use a intimidating power of intending to impress the Germans. For that to explain that the United States wanted to be at the top and the most powerful nation in the world. I also found words like "people", "peace", "rights", "nation", and "free" showed that the United States were interested in being neutral and they were also trying to protect the rights of people not just in the United States but around the world. The United States also wanted to show in the declaration that they were better than anybody. The United States mainly wanted to be at peace with everyone, but if something happened to Americans the United States has even a greater power to protect its citizens and government to make it look like better and stronger power.
As for the German Response, I felt like the Germans were trying to enrage the United States even more, and spark an even bigger war when naming England. They rejected the declaration and they rationalized that the war was between Europe's nations. It also seemed to me like the Germans really did want to spark this war, they kept provoking the United States to be involve in World War I. When looking at the Wordles again it looks like Germany was intent to maintain as a powerful nation and it tried to show its lethal path to the United States. The absolutely seemed eager to fight in this great big war. In conclusion, both the Declaration of the United States and the German Response showed that both had completely different opinions of war.
